Empowering students
through sport

We’re building a stronger Park City by ensuring every student has access to the life-changing power of sport—supporting participation, growth, and connection today and for generations to come.

When athletics are strong, students, communities, and futures thrive

When students join teams, they find belonging, confidence, and connection at a time when too many young people are pulled toward screens, isolation, and unhealthy choices. Athletics give students a place to move, belong, and grow—building resilience, leadership, and lifelong skills that strengthen not only the athletes themselves, but the school community as a whole.

Even in our world-class town of Park City, significant funding gaps in high school athletics place growing financial and fundraising burdens on families and teams—limiting access to the full benefits of school sports.

The Go Miners Athletic Foundation exists to organize community investment in athletics, expanding access to participation, and strengthening the role of sport in student life. By streamlining and coordinating fundraising efforts, expanding communication, and investing in athletic facilities, we help ensure every Park City High School student has the opportunity to belong, compete, and succeed.

Let’s Go Miners!

The Go Miners Athletic Foundation proudly supports all Park City High School athletic programs—from sanctioned varsity teams to our growing community of student-led athletic clubs. From golf, cheerleading, and cross-country to flag and tackle football, lacrosse, esports, mountain biking, and more, Miner athletes are accomplishing great things on the field and building skills that last well beyond graduation.

Check out the latest schedules and scores to see how they’re doing—and find out when and where to cheer them on.

Why we Go Miners

“Baseball was a turning point for our son. It gave him confidence, a sense of belonging, and motivation. Without these experiences, I’m not sure he would feel as prepared or connected heading into middle school.”

— Michelle Stevens, Elementary Parent

“Athletics has shaped my discipline, work ethic, and long-term goals. Without access to a track my senior year, I trained off-campus every day — but I shouldn’t have had to. With better facilities, future athletes could focus on performance, not logistics.”

— Sierra Darling, PCHS Class of 2026, accepted to Yale

“High school athletics taught me to keep going even when the path is hard. It prepared me to manage pressure, overcome adversity, and put in the work — skills that helped me succeed at UVA and now at Goldman Sachs. Park City’s investment in sports isn’t just about the game — it’s about preparing kids for life.”

— Lauren Pederson, PCHS Class of 2020, UVA graduate
